Buying Propane (LP) Gas in Japan

Japan has over 20,000 propane gas shops and the easiest way I have found to find one is search thorugh Google or Yahoo!. You will need to search in Japanese to find a shop near you but I have a short list of propane shops in the Tokyo area (see below). Also note that the propane gas shop owner is required by law to fill out an informed consent form like this sample. California Patio gas grills include a propane regulator when you buy the grill. Take the regulator with you when you buy the propane gas because the shop owner usually needs to confirm you have one for safety measures.
